China eCapital Corporation, a leading boutique investment bank in China, has announced that Peng Jin has joined the firm as a managing director.

Mr. Jin started his investment banking career with Bear Stearns, the sixth largest investment bank in the US, and was a core member of Bear Stearns's Asian Telecommunications & Media Group. He participated in a number of Asia-based telecommunication and Internet companies' private placements/public offerings, including China Mobile, China.com, Pacific Internet, Korea Thrunet, 8848.net and Sinobnet. Developing on his track record at Bear Stearns, Mr. Jin joined 21ViaNet, the largest privately-held network service provider in China, initially as Executive Vice President and the head of Strategic Development Group, focusing on product development, strategic planning, and international sales, and was subsequently appointed by the Board as CFO to take charge of investor relations, venture capital financing, and financial management.

Mr. Jin graduated with honor from New York University's L. Stern School of Business with a dual BS degree in Finance and Information Systems.
