Client Focus: We believe that the best measure of our own success is the success of our clients and how we added value to help them succeed. If we don't create significant value for our clients, in the long run, we will not be able to create any value for ourselves.

Long-term Relationships
: We take a long-term and selective approach with our clients. We recognize that not all clients are right for us, but when we come across a right one, we spend a long period of time building a relationship and an even longer period nurturing it. If we had to choose, we would rather work on more transactions involving fewer clients than the other way around.

Balance of Interest
: While we set out to achieve the best obtainable result for each of our clients in every transaction, we believe that, in the long run, the best result for our own client is a win-win situation for all parties to the transactions.

: Integrity is at the core of everything we do. In our view, it is not only a formula for success, but a pre-requisite for survival. We will ensure that in the rare circumstances when our interest conflicts with that of our client, the client's interest will always come first.

: We strive to achieve the highest professional standards in everything we do. While we recognize results are not always driven by the details and technicalities, we believe in the long run, it is the quality of our work that sets us apart from our competitors.

: We do not believe there are cookie-cutter solutions for cookie-cutter deals. Each situation presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities, and we should always present creative and unique solutions for our clients.

: We do not claim to be all things to all people. We want to stay focused and stay on top of the things we focus on. This means that in the selected industries that we are committed to, we seek to be as in-touch and knowledgeable as we possibly can. The more we understand about an industry, the more we realize how critical it is for us to build such insight and expertise.

: Our primary asset is our people. We strive to create an environment that will not only attract and retain the best people, but one that will also foster their continuous growth and development. Simply put, without a solid platform for institutional learning, we cannot become a first-class institution.

Social Responsibility
: While doing deals is an important element of our lives, we realize that there are bigger things in life than just getting deals done. We cannot be a great investment bank without first being a socially responsible corporate citizen. Often, that means doing the right thing for others at cost to ourselves.
